We are seeing that sometimes people put too much water. But more is not necessarily better. We recommend starting with around 9 lbs / 4 liter of water, and working your way up from there.

Yes, the Tidal Tank Hydrovest comes with its own specialized tank that is made to fit firmly in the vest. It is very important that Tank itself does not move, so that all the perturbation comes from the water within the Tank. This is why we made a special Tank with multiple extra strong velcro strips that creates the desired connection to the vest.

Unfortunately this is not possible, since the the Tank needs velcro strips to firmly attach the vest, ensuring that the Tank itself does not move. See also the previous.

Surprisingly Effective!!!

So I’ve tried all sorts of baseball training equipment from velcro strap swing rails, to fuego balls, to momentum trainers and sure those things have some benefit but they are, in general, a one-trick pony. Not the case with the tidal tank hydrovest….

Setting up the equipment takes about 15minutes or so and is fairly intuitive (although there are instructions for set up to rely on). Add a tablespoon of liquid bleach (chloride) and a few drops of dye, then simply fill the tank with about 1/10th up to 1/7th of your body weight for a good starting point. Use distilled water to limit impurities (makes it less likely to start building up mold along the lining of the tank).

Place the tank into the vest so that the cap side is on your glove side. Line up the Velcro stripes for good contact.

Next, open the cap and be sure the spring valve release is all the way up/out, the twist on the hand pump to add air pressure to the tank to your preference (should be tight but not so tight that the tank is stretching). Carefully untwist the pump attachment (to avoid the pressure from seeping out), then thread on the end cap to seal the tank.

Prime the straps so that the tank is top anchored to the vest and then thread the straps to the chest area anchors so that you can pull upwards to tighten them and downwards to loosen them. Then adjust the rib clip and strap. Done.

This hydrovest really helps me maintain a true axis of rotation for more efficient lower half engagement and power. It has had a tremendous effect on my throwing and batting power. My throws have so much life in them now and my batting power has soared. Can’t recommend this equipment enough if you are looking to tap into your potential.

Product fine but was horribly slow and damaged

It took well over two weeks to get it and the box was completely split open. I have not got it out to fill the tanks but I’m really confident the product is great based on previous experience.
